From Digital Strategy to Public Understanding
Veristic Media was not born in a newsroom — it was born in Digital Setups, a digital advertising and publishing company known for building reliable digital frameworks and content systems.
Its founders, Shahzaib Nadeem and Aqsa Jamil, spent years helping brands and organizations shape their digital voice. But amid the rising clutter of sensationalized news and shallow digital reporting, they noticed something deeper: people were informed, but not truly understanding what drives Pakistan — politically, economically, and socially.
That realization sparked a new idea — what if the same precision, performance, and strategy that drive successful digital brands were applied to journalism itself?
The Idea: Journalism Meets Digital Intelligence
As business professionals deeply involved in the digital ecosystem, Shahzaib and Aqsa had mastered how audiences behave, what they seek, and how information travels online.
At the same time, their passion for media, communication, and public discourse pushed them to question:
“If media can sell anything, why can’t it sell understanding?”
They realized Pakistan didn’t lack information — it lacked structured, factual, and context-rich journalism presented in a modern, accessible way.
So, they envisioned a digital-first newsroom that wouldn’t just chase news, but explain how systems work, how policies affect people, and how Pakistan connects to the world.
That concept became Veristic Media — named after the word “veristic,” meaning truthful, realistic, and genuine.
The Foundation: Digital Setups as the Backbone
With Digital Setups (Pvt.) Ltd. as the founding backbone, Veristic Media was built on strategic digital infrastructure rather than traditional broadcast limitations.
This foundation gave it an edge — access to digital analytics, automated publishing systems, and a deep understanding of user engagement.
Instead of replicating old newsroom models, Veristic Media was engineered for transparency, performance, and precision — every piece of content traceable, fact-checked, and accountable.
The Build: A New Kind of Newsroom
In its early days, the founders assembled a team of reporters, editors, reviewers, and correctors — not just journalists, but digital communicators.
They set three ground rules:
- Never trade accuracy for speed.
- Never publish without purpose.
- Never hide behind anonymity — every story should have accountability.
The team began crafting explainers, data-backed stories, and narrative journalism that connected the dots between policy, economy, people, and power.
What started as a small digital setup grew into a network of over 300 professionals and volunteer contributors, united by the belief that journalism should clarify, not confuse.
The Turning Point
Within its first year, Veristic Media earned recognition for its reader-first editorial model and open publication policies.
Its strict Editorial Standards and Transparency Reports set it apart from traditional and digital news channels in Pakistan — many of which lacked clear accountability.
By combining business discipline with journalistic purpose, Shahzaib and Aqsa created a model where content serves public understanding while remaining ethically sustainable.
The Ongoing Mission
Veristic Media continues to evolve under the vision of its founders — building Pakistan’s most responsible, transparent, and digital-first newsroom.
With every article, analysis, and opinion piece, we work to empower citizens with clarity and rebuild public trust in information.
Our story is not just about a news channel — it’s about reshaping how Pakistan reads, understands, and moves forward.
